Xiaomi expects to sell 100 million smartphones this year

After triple sales in 2014 , invoicing 61.12 million, the Chinese company expects to sell this year 100 million smartphones .
The Xiaomi is a Chinese company that has been most prominent in the segment of mobile devices. With powerful equipment at very competitive prices, Xiaomi was considered in 2014 the third largest manufacturer of smartphones worldwide.
During the conference “Xiaomi’s Global Supplier” which was recently held, Lei Jun has made it clear that the company wants to sell 80 million to 100 million smartphones in 2015.
Xiaomi is the largest manufacturer of smartphones in China and one of the highest investments in the Android segment but there are rumors that indicate that the company is preparing to begin marketing smartphones with Windows 10.

Facebook Messenger open to third-party applications – In addition to the emoticons that help animate conversations in Messenger, the service will now give direct access to applications that users may download the middle of a conversation without leaving the platform.[ads2]

Wednesday is available the SDK that will allow developers and companies have developed applications to integrate the new Messenger Platform, that Facebook announced this afternoon at the annual conference F8 developers. As expected, the company opens the application of instant communications the social network partners, which gain a new opportunity to be closer to consumers and multiply the number of downloads of its products on social networks. At the conference the company showed how users will be able to interact with the new provision of applications, which will be available on a menu in the top of the chat box. These apps will be able to be downloaded easily with virtually no out of a conversation. Can be used to animate a conversation with gifs, videos, or other content. In the same logic was also shown on the Business Messenger, another novelty in that the company is working and that will enable companies to pool their applications on the platform and make it a point of contact with customers. The statement made at the event showed a user to exchange messages with a clothing store, to answer questions and find out information about an order made. Over the past few months Facebook has worked with dozens of developers / companies in the new Messenger Platform and already has 40 applications ready to be used by the messaging service. In the coming weeks the number should increase significantly.

PTA Report about 3G usage in Pakistan

PTA – Pakistan Telecommunication Authority release a report about 3G operators stats last day. According to PTA, total users using 3G service now reaches to 1 crore and 34 lac. This figure is up-to 28 February 2015 and increasing day by day.[ads2]

PTA also releases figures about 3G users for top five 3G operators (Mobilink, Telenor,Ufone, Warid and Zong).

Following are the no of users currently enjoying 3G service all around PAKISTAN.

Mobilink

Mobilink is leading 3G operator in Pakistan with 423,371 active users till the end of last month and also growing day by day.But it is predicted that Telenor will now take leads in March because its users shifting to 3G increases more as compared to Mobilink.

Telenor

Currently Telenor is on second position as its no of users using 3G services are 405,883 and more rapidly increasing and its is expected that very soon Telenor will take first position beating Mobilink.

Zong

Zong currently added 266,307 customers into its 3G service and take 3rd position. Zong also offering 4G service to its users and 6k+ users of zong also enjoying this service.

Ufone

Ufone users those are currently enjoying 3G service reaches upto 216,137 and is on 4th position.

Warid

Warid also providing 4G service to its customers and now its users reaches upto 61k+.

LG Electronics has said it will present at Mobile World Congress (MWC) a new line of mid-priced smartphones. Four new smartphone LG – this Magna, Spirit, Leon and Joy. LG Magna and Spirit have a curved design that provides smartphones original appearance. All four models will be available in versions with module 3G, and support networks LTE. VAIO Release its own New Smartphone 2015

As is known, previously owned by the Sony VAIO brand is now owned by Japanese Industrial Partners (JIP). Recently presented the first laptops brand VAIO (already separated from Sony), but we now know that there will soon be a smartphone VAIO. His official announcement is expected on March 12 at the first time the device may be demonstrated at the MWC 2015 in early March.

According to unofficial information, the first smartphone VAIO is built on a 64-bit processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916, equipped with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. The device is equipped with a 5-inch touchscreen display 720p, 13-megapixel main and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The model works under the operating system Android 5.0 Lollipop. It is also reported that the manufacturer of the model will be the company Quanta Computer.[ads2]
